The Westport Cultural Council receives no funding from the town and minimal support from the state’s cultural program. The events, performances, and exhibits sponsored by the WCC rely on the financial support of our community, please consider a gift to the Carol Vidal Fund.

The Carol Vidal Cultural Fund was created through the generosity of an anonymous Westport family to help underwrite the work of the Westport Cultural Council.
The fund is named in honor of Carol Vidal, who led the Westport Cultural Council with enthusiasm and a tireless effort to enrich our community with the arts and culture. As chairperson of the council she helped to secure grant funding, administered the Council’s procedures, tutored the board’s members, and guided the development of new programs and events that brought area residents together to socialize, laugh, and learn.
